The term "911" commonly refers to the emergency telephone number used in the United States and Canada for immediate assistance from police, fire, or medical services. Additionally, "9/11" is often associated with the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, where hijacked planes were flown into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
